The benefits of Coconut Oil

First and foremost you should know the difference between refined and unrefined coconut oil. Refined coconut oil is made from dried organic, coconut meat or copra. It has a neutral scent and flavor. Unrefined coconut oil is made from fresh coconut meat, that is cold pressed and it leaves just the oil which has pure coconut flavor. They are both good for cooking purposes and body care. However, I prefer to use the unrefined or you may hear other say virgin coconut oil. They both have the same nutritional profile. So which ever you decide you can’t go wrong.
Did you know coconut oil has antibacterial properties and reduce candida, fight bacteria and create a hostile environment for viruses. The fat in coconut oil lauric acid, can even fight bacteria in the mouth and stomach. It’s also an aid in weight loss, hair care and muscle repair. It’s a great substitute oil for when your cooking in the kitchen. it can also be used as a natural deodorant.
